Through various debt financing vehicles, each with their own specific mandates, Nexus supports the adoption of low-carbon solutions in sustainable energy, clean water, and improved sanitation sectors across Southeast Asia. We support the scaling-up of early to growth stage enterprises that deliver positive impacts to both the environment and their communities by providing easy access to affordable, unsecured debt, typically inaccessible to SMEs in emerging markets.

Nexus seeks a dynamic and driven Head of Investments to manage its portfolio of innovative funds, with a focus on growing Nexus’ largest fund, the Pioneer Facility (see our funds summary in the following table). The Head of Investments’ role is four-fold: 1) deal cycle management, 2) reporting and administration, 3) relationship management, and 4) strategy ideation and business development.

The Head of Investments reports to the Executive Director and will work closely with the multi-disciplinary Funds Management team on investments as well as with the operations team on reporting and post-investment monitoring. The selected candidate will play a significant role in shaping the Nexus’ mission and the implementation of our alternative financing schemes.

Nexus seeks an experienced and motivated Technical Services Manager to be based in our office in Phnom Penh, Cambodia!

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Technical Services Manager will serve as a Co-Head to the technical team with responsibility for delivering high-quality, expert carbon and technology advisory services to Nexus’ clients and corporate partners, and to work internally in support of the funds management team. The position is also responsible for business development and is expected to contribute to the sourcing of new projects and consultancies in the low-carbon clean energy and WASH sectors. Nexus seeks to constantly improve upon the quality of our technical work and in this role the Technical Services Manager will contribute to the growth of the project portfolio while working with the team to build upon best practices.
