Meet Mrs. Phon Pov (46), Super Tunsai owner for 4 years

Mrs. Phon Pov is 46 years old and she is a farmer and tailor in Thum Tboung Village, Ponhea Pon Sangkat, Khan Prek Pnov.

She is married, with four children and four grand children. Meeting with Hydrologic’s clean water expert 4 years ago, she decided to buy Super Tunsai because it is easy to use, and it’s saving time and money.

I decided to buy Super Tunsai because it’s very convenient and it’s saving time. Time is very important to us as my family are very busy with our work to earn as much as possible to support my children studying at University. Besides taking care and supporting my children, I have four grandchildren adding more responsibility to our family, and especially to me. I have to take them to school and pick them up in the evening as their parents are working in the garment factory down town. Hence I’m really busy and finally, and can’t spend additional time buying or boiling water. Also, buying water is costly and we’d rather save this money to support our children’s studies and living. So, we thought that buying Super Tunsai was a good decision for our family as it can be used 5 to 8 years. Also everyone in the village could afford this water filter because the company was providing a loan so we could pay it within 6 months, 30,000 Riel per month.

For Mrs. Phon Pov time is more important than money. If she doesn’t need to boil water, she can focus on her work to provide for her children’s studies and daily life without worrying about water disease and her children getting sick. This is what it means to have clean and safe water at home almost “on tap”.
