HOW DOES NEXUS CONTRIBUTE TO PROJECT AND PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT IN ASIA?
A solution-driven approach
Entrepreneur Support Organizations (ESO) like Nexus are solution-driven. We combine “tools”, aka expertise or services, to create synergy. For over a decade we have developed strong financial and technical expertise that we leverage to provide access to financial solutions for SMEs, through carbon finance and impact funds. We have also developed strong partnerships with like-minded organizations, as well as FIs and co-investors to make a greater impact.
Knowledge sharing and capacity building
We all understand the complexity of developing strong market knowledge, having a fine project evaluation, and designing an appropriate risk mitigation strategy. We believe that by sharing knowledge with peers and combining our expertise, we are building a stronger ecosystem to accelerate support for SMEs. Whether it is in terms of capacity development, finance, or policy and regulation.
With so much great work going on in supporting climate and environmental action, what can we do together to move forward as effectively as possible?
We have experienced how fruitful it is to work with partners and brainstorm to deliver the best solutions for beneficiaries. Thus, we invite network organizations and ESO to connect and work together to create new pilots. Knowledge sharing and capacity building among practitioners fast-track processes for SMEs to deliver on their mission.
To this end, Nexus participated actively in the recent study led by ANDE on SEA Climate & Environmental Entrepreneurial Ecosystem, providing key insights on the set of organizations supporting entrepreneurs that aim to address climate change mitigation, adaptation, and non-climate related environmental protection challenges.
