Green credit programme for SMEs Government of Vietnam

   
 
The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), in co-operation with the Vietnamese Ministry of Planning and Investment’s Small- and Medium-sized Enterprise Development Fund (SMEDF), drafted a handbook on its green growth priorities for SMEs. Under the draft handbook, SMEs are entitled to low-interest loans for their “green” projects. The fund will first focus on three sector groups: agri-fishery-forestry; manufacturing and processing; and water supply and the management and treatment of solid waste and wastewater.
